Graduation Requirements Policy Statement:
Patrick Henry Academy encourages its students to follow its Honors Diploma Program.
Students are offered a program of studies that will prepare them for success in college and satisfy requirements established by the S.C. Commission on Higher Education for enrollment in baccalaureate degree programs in state colleges and universities. Requirements for the program of studies include completion of the following:

Mathematics …5 Units …Algebra I Honors, Algebra II Honors, Honors Geometry, Pre-Calculus Honors, Calculus Honors
Science …3 Units …Biology, Chemistry, and Advanced Biology
Social Studies …3 Units …U.S. History, Econ/Gov, Global Studies
Foreign Language …4 Units …Latin (1 year) and Spanish (3 years)
Physical Education …1 Unit …8th grade
Computer …1 Unit… 9th grade
SAT Prep … 1 Unit … 11th grade
Fine Arts …1 Unit …12th grade
Electives …2 Units … Physics, Western Civilization, Advanced Computer, Journalism

This becomes fully effective with the class of 2015-16.
Patrick Henry Academy also offers a College Prep Diploma Program which, although not as rigorous, is similarly designed will prepare students for success in college and satisfy requirements established by the S.C.
